Family Health Center Receives Grant from Post Foods

Margie Humes, Chair of Post Foods Contributions Committee and Denise Allen, Post Foods Finance, presented a check for $2,000 to Dr. A.J. Jones, President/CEO of Family Health Center of Battle Creek (FHC).  The grant will be used for the Center's Healthy Lifestyles program which began in 2000 and has been supported, in part, by Post Foods for several years.  The program was developed to increase patients' awareness of healthy eating and healthy lifestyles.  FHC will purchase various items to help educate patients.  Staff members will work one-on-one with patients to assist them in learning about better eating habits and benefits of active, healthy lifestyle changes.
