Grant Received from Kraft

Steve Schonhoff, Plant Manager of Kraft and Margie Humes, Chair of Kraft Contributions Committee present a check for $10,000 to Dr. A.J. Jones, President/CEO of Family Health of Battle Creek.  The funds will be used for the Center’s Healthy Lifestyles program which began in 2000 and has been supported by Kraft Foods for several years. 

The program was started in an effort to reduce obesity and increase patients’ awareness of healthy eating and healthy lifestyles.  Not only will the Center purchase various items to help educate patients, but it also has a staff member who works one-on-one with patients in teaching them about healthy eating and how to make healthy changes in their lifestyle.
