Provides leadership, direction and administration of all aspects of the Albion site and Dental Services to ensure accomplishment of objectives.
- Oversees patient care services in accordance with Center, governmental and other regulatory standards.
- Establishes and implements departmental policies and procedures, annual budget and monitors performance of the team.
- Oversees the human resources of the Albion site and Dental Services including participating in the recruitment, development, orientation, evaluation and retention of staff.
- Participates in the development of goals and objectives for the quality improvement program.
- Collects data, prepares reports, answers correspondence and compiles statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Participates in professional development activities. Attends conferences and workshops.
- Recommends, develops, and updates strategic long-range plans to support the Center's philosophy and goals.
- Assures performance and professional standards are monitored and in compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies.
- Works with Clinical Director to develop, implement, and evaluate standards of patient care. Effectively manages multiple resources in a variety of settings to meet patient needs.
- Serves as liaison and channel of communication between the administration and the medical, dental, and clinical support staff.
- Builds relationships in the community to enhance patient care.
- Promotes professional development by assessing and prioritizing educational needs of staff.
- Participates in establishment and implementation of organizational policies and procedures.
- Represents the Center at public and professional meetings and conferences as requested.
- Performs related work as required and undertakes special projects as directed.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality.
