Accreditation

Family Health Center of Battle Creek and Albion (FHC) is recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Bureau of Primary Health.

FHC completed our performance review November 7-9, 2007 with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), an agency of DHHS. HRSA is the primary agency for improving access to healthcare services for people who are uninsured, isolated or medically vulnerable.


Hospital Affiliation

Battle Creek:

Family Health Center of Battle Creek has a strong relationship with Battle Creek Health System (BCHS) to ensure that our patients receive high quality, accessible health care.


Albion:

Oaklawn Hospital offers the opportunity to get lab tests and x-rays done on-site at Family Health Center of Albion. If a patient requires hospitalization, Oaklawn Hospital works in cooperation with our physicians to arrange for admittance.


Partnerships

Our partners include those we collaborate with or sit on committees with in an effort to improve our community. Our partners are also those who provide gifts to the Center to help us assist the underserved and increase access to care.
